Mini shows the top model for the first time at the Detroit Auto Show (17 to 25 January 2015), by April 2015 the strongest mini then takes off. The 1.6-liter four-cylinder predecessor was disposed of, now tinkers a 231-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder with twin power turbo under the hood. In order for the 2015 John Cooper Works is 20 hp more than the previous model. The torque has increased significantly by 23 percent to 320 Newton meters. In combination with the standard six-speed manual gearbox in the Mini 6.3 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km / h sprint (0.2 less than before), with the Steptronic in 6.1 seconds. The top speed is 246 km / h. The consumption according to the manufacturer at 6.7 liters with manual transmission and 5.7 liters with the Steptronic. For the right sound a sports exhaust system with specific end tailpipes.
The sports seats with integrated headrests were developed
When looking into the interior especially the John Cooper Works 2015 sports seats newly developed fall with integrated head restraints in the eye. They are kept in a standard Dinamica / fabric combination, on request, there is also leather covers. For sporty flair also a leather multifunction steering wheel, special door sills, red contrast tires, a model-specific shift lever, stainless steel pedals and an anthracite headliner are in the Mini John Cooper Works as production equipment.

Matched to the motor power the chassis and the newly developed Brembo racing brakes with red calipers: comes standard with the 2015 Mini John Cooper Works with a sports suspension with adjustable driving modes, plus there’s special 17-inch alloy wheels. In the coatings Mini provides specifically for the top model in the color schemes Chili Red and Green Rebel metallic. Optionally, racing stripes for the bonnet are available. If you need more sportiness, may mark the optional Sport instruments in the option list. The three circular dials provide information on oil and boost pressure and lap times. The new Mini John Cooper Works costs from 29,900 euros and will be available from 25 April 2015.
